M2 HSS is the standard grade for general-purpose machining of mild steel, aluminium, brass, and plastics. It offers an excellent balance of toughness and wear resistance. M35 contains 5% cobalt, providing higher red-hardness for cutting harder metals. M42 contains 8% cobalt, designed for stainless steel and exotic alloys. We currently specialize in high-durability M2 grade tools.

Thread compatibility is critical:

• Metric (M): Standard ISO thread used in most modern machinery (e.g., M8x1.25).
• BSW (British Standard Whitworth): An older standard with a 55° thread angle, commonly found in vintage machinery, structural bolting, and agricultural gear.
• BSP (British Standard Pipe): Standard for pipe fittings and plumbing threads.

All HSS tool bits, taps, and carbide inserts are shipped in protective plastic cases, oil-coated to prevent corrosion, and padded with bubble wrap inside corrugated boxes. We guarantee your tools will arrive sharp, clean, and free of edge chipping.
